What age group is this for?
The CHIPS layer ramps K-12. Lesson 1 starts with "what is an algorithm" — usable from age 6 with adult support. Lesson 20 builds a multi-sensor system — usable through high school.
Do students need accounts?
No. Teacher signs up. Teacher gets a class code. Students join with the code and a first name — no email, no password, no parental-consent rabbit hole.
What does it cost for a classroom?

Does this need internet during class?
During the lesson, yes — the editor lives in the browser. The board runs offline once your code is on it, though. We are exploring a fully-offline classroom mode.
What if the school IT locks down USB?
USB-A access is needed for the board. We are exploring a Bluetooth-paired bridge for schools with locked-down USB; ping us if that is your scenario.
